In many nations, primary and secondary schools provide long summer vacation about two months or more. This essay will discuss requirement of long holidays for pupils physical health and mental well being as well as what are the advantages of shorter school holidays

One of the main reason is temprature in summer season observed about 40 degree or higher in many countries, therefore schools are giving long holidays to their student. For instance high heat causes health related problems like diahrea, dizziness and heatshock like problems. Moreover students can relax and learn something new rather than only focusing on books, which helps to reduce theire stress and learn some creative things. Students can also spent quality time with their friends and family as well as with relatives

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address both questions: the first body paragraph explains how long breaks can protect pupils from extreme summer heat and give them time to rest, while the second argues that shorter holidays allow more time to complete the syllabus. These are relevant points, and the conclusion restates the two sides. However, the discussion is only partly developed. The value of family time and learning creative activities is mentioned but not illustrated or explained in depth, and the case for shorter holidays relies mainly on syllabus completion. Your opening says the essay will discuss both issues, but it does not establish a clear overall position about their relative value. Develop each main point with a specific example and clarify your view.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, one paragraph for the value of long holidays, one for shorter holidays, and a conclusion. This makes the main stages easy to identify. You also use linking expressions such as “For instance,” “Moreover,” and “In conclusion.” However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes mechanical, and several ideas are joined without clear punctuation or transitions. For example, the first body paragraph moves from heat-related illness to stress relief and family time in quick succession. The second repeats the idea of completing the syllabus and learning with less pressure. Group related points, explain how each supports the paragraph’s main claim, and use referencing and transitions more precisely.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “physical health,” “mental well being,” “syllabus,” “stress,” and “creative.” This gives the reader a basic understanding of the issues. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate or repetitive, such as “complete their full course with relax,” “learn thing,” and “term completion time.” Spelling errors, including “temprature,” “diahrea,” “leaarn,” and “benifits,” are noticeable and reduce the accuracy of the vocabulary. Aim to use more precise phrases for the ideas you discuss, and check spelling carefully. Building a small set of accurate expressions about school calendars, learning continuity, and student wellbeing would help you express these points more naturally.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a cause-and-effect structure in “high heat causes health related problems … therefore schools are giving long holidays” and a conditional-style explanation of how shorter breaks may support learning. However, control is inconsistent, and errors sometimes make sentences difficult to follow. Examples include “One of the main reason is,” “it allow students,” and “holidays plays,” where subject–verb agreement is incorrect. Articles and sentence boundaries also need attention: the opening lacks a full stop, and several sentences run together, such as the conclusion’s “stress.Long holidays.” Practise checking agreement, articles, and punctuation, and build complex sentences around one clearly expressed main clause.
