In recent years, importance of school holidays has attracted considerable attention worldwide. In lots of countries, secondary and primary schools close for two months summer holidays. However, the value of long holidays is provide childern ot refresh their self's and allow them to spend quality time with their family, in second answer the shorter section of holidays contain some favourable arguments include the save time and enhance their knowledge.
One important reason why summer holidays should be long. Because it offers several advantages to children. in other words it allows to spend quality time with their family Furthermore relax their self's at home . which improve thier over all quality of life. For example, although the schools provide the weekand holidyas but these are not enough to refresh that is why the education institutes provide long summer holidays. Many families plan to visit in summre for the hillstations and the kids are essential for them to go over there and enjoy quality time togather. This demonstrating why this view is commonly accepted.
On the other hand where the holidays have plus points but also comprises on some dangerous effects include the wastage of time and intruption from studies this is mainly because it creates kids too much lazy. That is why some right argues to reduse the period of holidays to two months. For instance, this is the only wha to connect children with studies and helpful way to improve their knowledge. Moreover, some schools should be given summer tasks to students to attatched with their stidies.
In conclusion, Although the summer vections have provide benefities But also causes some harmful effects to the studies of children. Therefore, holidies are important but the perioud should be shoter is more beneficial.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both questions: you identify family time and relaxation as benefits of long holidays, then argue that shorter breaks could reduce disruption to study and help children maintain learning. The examples about family trips and summer tasks are relevant. However, the ideas remain limited and are not always clearly explained. For instance, the claim that shorter holidays “save time” is not developed, and the suggestion to reduce holidays “to two months” does not clearly explain what shorter period you mean, given the task’s context. Your conclusion favours shorter holidays, but this position is not fully established in the introduction. Make your view explicit from the start and explain each argument with a clear cause-and-effect link or a specific example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two sides, and a conclusion. “On the other hand” helps signal the shift to arguments for shorter holidays, and examples are generally placed alongside the relevant point. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow because ideas are joined mechanically or without clear links. The opening sentence of the second paragraph is a fragment, while the long sentence beginning “On the other hand where…” combines several claims without clear organisation. Referencing is also unclear in phrases such as “this is the only way,” where the exact idea is not specified. Use shorter, complete sentences and organise each paragraph around one main point, followed by explanation and an example.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “quality time,” “advantages,” “wastage of time,” and “improve their knowledge.” However, the range is limited, and frequent spelling, word-form, and collocation errors sometimes make the meaning difficult to understand. Examples include “childern,” “intr uption,” “summer vections,” and “attatched”; phrases such as “refresh their self’s” and “comprises on some dangerous effects” are also unnatural. These issues reduce precision even when the general idea can be inferred. Build a reliable set of topic vocabulary and check spelling and word partnerships carefully. Prefer accurate, straightforward expressions over ambitious phrases that do not fit the intended meaning.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt some complex structures, including clauses introduced by “although,” “because,” and “that is why,” but these are often not controlled successfully. The opening contains an incomplete construction (“the value … is provide”), and “One important reason why summer holidays should be long. Because…” is split into a fragment. Other problems include missing articles and verb forms, as in “it allows to spend” and “which improve,” as well as inconsistent sentence boundaries and capitalisation. These errors recur and sometimes make relationships between ideas unclear. Practise writing complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, then check agreement, articles, and punctuation. Once these are secure, use subordinate clauses to connect reasons and examples.
