IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The charts below give information about a public library in a town called Little Chalfont.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

 

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The pie chart shows age groups who where visited public library in 2016 whereas table illustrates the loans was taken by different categories children fiction, children's non fiction and many other. The bar graph elucidates total number of loans taken by library members for 10 years from 2007 to 2016.

Overall, children have accounted for small proportion of member who wre interested in little chalfont library and there was only 1% for loan in category of children's DVD'S in 2016. On the other hand, total number of loans shows inconsistent pattern from 2007 to 2016.

The pie chart elucidates that the half of the members belonging the age group of adult from 18-64 and the lowest age of library member were adults.

According to table, children fiction and adult fiction were same 38% and these both categories were popular compared to other. Young and adults audio books were also same is 2% and these both are competitive less popular.

Turning towards the another side, the number of loans showed a upward trend over the decade rising from approximately 15,500 in 2007 to a peak of around 21,500 in 2016. About, there are 18,000 memebers were seen in 2008 and 2009 this two consistent years were stable for taking a loan and then 2009 to 2016 it shows inconstant motif.
