The charts below give information about a public library in a town called Little Chalfont.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 7.0)
The three charts illustrate the information about a public library in a town called Little Chalfont between 2007 to 2016.
Overall, in 2016, the age with the highest library members were adults ages 18-64 and the table shows the total loans by category in percentage, which Children and adult's fiction rated as highest. Furthermore, the bar graph shows fluctuations with 2016 being the highest between 2007 and 2016.
The pie chart noted that half of the users as categorized by age were Adults from 18 to 64 with 51%, while adults age 65 and above were the lowest with 12%. Children got almost a quarter with 22% and young adults ages 13 to 17 with 15%.
The highest total loans by category in 2016 were Children and adult'[s fiction with 38%, whereas the lowest was children's DVDs with only 1%. The other categories like Adult non-fiction, children's non-fiction, young adults and adult audio books are in descending order with 13%, 6%, and 2% noted.
On the other hand, the total number of loans in 2007 to 2016 has a fluctuating trend for the whole period. in 2007 with approximately 16000 totals loans roughly increased after a year and maintained until 2009 with 18000. The figures reached its peak at 2016 with 21000.
