Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 7.0

The response covers all three charts provided in the prompt. You successfully identified the main features, such as the age distribution in the pie chart and the peak loan year in the bar graph. However, the analysis of the table is slightly underdeveloped; while you mention the highest and lowest sectors, you could have provided more comparative detail between the categories. The overview is integrated into the introduction, which is a good approach, but ensure that the main trends are highlighted more distinctly. Overall, you have addressed the requirements of the task well, providing a clear summary of the data presented.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 7.0

The essay is logically organized into three paragraphs, each focusing on one of the charts. This structure helps the reader follow your analysis. You use some cohesive devices, such as 'In contrast' and 'In addition', to link ideas. However, the transition between sentences is sometimes mechanical, and the use of referencing could be improved to avoid repetitive phrasing like 'the amount of loans was taken'. Paragraphing is used appropriately, and there is a clear progression of information from the pie chart to the table and finally the bar graph.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.5

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'illustrates', 'depicts', and 'comparable'. There are some minor inaccuracies in word choice, such as 'the amount of loans that were taken' (loans are countable, so 'number' is more appropriate) and 'young adult age range 13-17' (which could be phrased more naturally). You attempt to use specific terminology related to the data, which is good. To reach a higher band, try to incorporate more precise collocations and avoid repeating the same phrases when describing the data points.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.5

You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are several grammatical errors, such as 'The number of adult members... were' (subject-verb agreement) and 'The loans that took in 2008' (passive voice error). Punctuation is generally acceptable, though some lists could be punctuated more cleanly. The errors present do not impede communication, but they do occur frequently enough to prevent a higher score. Focusing on subject-verb agreement and consistent use of passive voice for data reporting will improve your accuracy.
