|---|---|

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response covers all parts of the task, providing a clear overview and selecting key features from the charts. You successfully identified the largest and smallest demographic groups and the most popular loan categories. However, the response is incomplete, ending abruptly with 'wgere' instead of finishing the final sentence about the loan trends. This omission prevents a full analysis of the final chart. To improve, ensure you complete all sentences and provide a more thorough comparison of the data points, such as contrasting the specific percentages of the loan categories more effectively rather than just listing them.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 7.0
The essay is logically organized into paragraphs, with a clear introduction, overview, and body paragraphs focusing on different charts. You use cohesive devices such as 'Meanwhile', 'Additionally', and 'Approximately' to link ideas. However, the abrupt ending significantly disrupts the flow and coherence of the final paragraph. While the progression of ideas is generally clear, the mechanical nature of some transitions could be improved to sound more natural. Ensure that each paragraph has a clear concluding thought to maintain the logical flow of your argument.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.5
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'proportion', 'constituted', and 'minority' correctly. There is an attempt to use less common vocabulary, though some phrasing is slightly repetitive. You occasionally struggle with precision, such as in the phrase 'majority among the remaining of the age groups', which is slightly awkward. To reach a higher band, focus on using more precise collocations and avoiding repetitive sentence structures. Overall, the vocabulary is sufficient to convey your meaning clearly without significant errors.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.5
You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. There are some grammatical errors, such as 'senior citizens being the smallest group' (which lacks a main verb) and the incomplete final sentence. Subject-verb agreement is generally maintained, but there are minor slips in phrasing. While the errors do not impede communication, they are frequent enough to prevent a higher score. To improve, focus on ensuring every sentence has a clear subject and verb, and proofread carefully to avoid incomplete thoughts or typographical errors like 'wgere'.
