The charts below give information about a public library in a town called Little Chalfont.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 6.5)
The data displays the age distribution of library members, loan categories and total number of loans taken by little chalfont library.
Overall, the maximum proportion of library members are adults below the age of 64. The library has taken the highest loan in 2016 on fiction books for adults and children.
The pie chart shows 51% library members who are adults age between 18-64, while children account for 12% and adults over 65 years of age are second most visitors of the library at 22%.
The little chalfont library has taken loan on seven book categories among which fiction books accounted at 38%, meanwhile adult non-fiction contribute at 13% which is the second largest proportion. For children's DVDs, the library took the lowest fraction of the mortgage at 1%. The public library accounted for the maximum number of loans during 2016 at around 23,000, while, rage shows fluctuation between little more than 15,000 to more that 20,000 from 2007 to 2016.
