Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 150 words, which significantly impacts the score. Furthermore, the response is incomplete, ending abruptly mid-sentence ('...and young adult rep'). While you have identified some main features of the charts, the lack of completion means you have not fully addressed all parts of the task. To improve, ensure you provide a full summary that covers all data points and reaches the required length. You should also avoid ending the essay prematurely, as this prevents a clear conclusion or full development of the data provided.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organized into paragraphs, and there is a basic attempt at logical progression. You use some cohesive devices like 'Overall', 'To begin with', and 'Furthermore'. However, because the text is incomplete and cuts off mid-sentence, the overall coherence is severely disrupted. The referencing is sometimes unclear, such as in the phrase 'The figure for loans were oscillated substantially', which lacks a clear subject or context. To improve, focus on completing your sentences and ensuring that each paragraph flows logically into the next with clear, accurate transitions.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'proportion', 'constituted', and 'represented'. However, there are errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'smallest share among elder people' (should be 'the elderly') and 'The figure for loans were oscillated' (incorrect verb usage). The vocabulary is generally functional but lacks the precision required for higher bands. To improve, work on using more accurate collocations and ensure that your word forms are correct in context.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

There is a mix of simple and some attempted complex structures, but the accuracy is inconsistent. You have several grammatical errors, such as 'The figure for loans were oscillated' (subject-verb agreement and voice error) and 'Young-adults has the 15%' (subject-verb agreement). Additionally, the incomplete final sentence demonstrates a lack of control over sentence structure. To improve, focus on subject-verb agreement and ensure that you complete your sentences with proper punctuation. Proofreading for basic grammatical errors will help you achieve a higher score.
