IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The charts below give information about a public library in a town called Little Chalfont.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

 

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The pie chart illustrates the data on Little Chalfont Library divided by library members, categories of loans and the total amount of loans.

Overall,over the half of the members were between 18 and 64 years in the last year and 2007 had the lowest and 2016 had the greatest amount of loans over the period ,while major proportion of loan overtaken by fiction.

Firstly, in terms of members,in 2016, adults was accounted for almost half ,while children was constituted for around a quarter.In addition,15% of people of youth group were the member of libraby whereas followed by 12% was aged people .

Secondly,among seven loan categories, fiction groups shown a noticeable loans,which was 38% and the lowest loan was by teenager's DVD,which was just 1 %.Likewise,other categories had minimal loan which was under 13%.

Furthermore,Between the 9 years,there was a substantial amount of loans taken in 2016 which was approximately 22000 .while In 2007, this proportion was just over 15000.From 2007 to 2016,the amount of loans experienced an upswing trend but in 2013 this level was slightly fluctuated.
