The charts below give information about a public library in a town called Little Chalfont.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 6.0)
The charts present information about a public library named Little Chalfornt, with three layouts: a pie chart, a table, and a graph chart.
Overall, Adults aged between 18 to 64 are the largest member of the library, whereas the highest loan is accounted for the children's fiction and the adult fiction books. In the graph chart, total number of loans is shown from 2007 and 2016.
From the pie chat, it is clear that more than half of the proportion of the members are from adults, aged between 18 to 64. Children are the second most largest members in the library, at 22%. Young adults 13-17 and adults 65 and over are the rest of the members, accounting for 15% and 12% respectively.
In the table, children's fiction and adult fiction books are accounted for the highest loan in the library, each at 38%. 13% loan is accounted for the adult non-fiction section in the library. The other sections have a very minimal loans. In the graph chat, the total loans from 2007 to 2016 was almost stable. However, the trend of total loans was about a little bit of upward direction in most of the years. In 2007, the total number of loans were over 15,000, while, in 2016, it had increased to over 20,000.
