Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.0

The response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 150 words, which significantly impacts the ability to fully address the task. While you have identified some main features, such as the age demographics and a partial comparison of loan categories, the analysis is incomplete. You have not described all the data provided in the charts, and the summary is cut off mid-sentence. To improve, ensure you cover all visual data points, provide a clear overview, and extend your analysis to meet the length requirement. Currently, the response is too brief to provide a comprehensive summary.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay is organized into short paragraphs, which is a good start. However, the progression of ideas is hindered by the incomplete nature of the text. You use some cohesive devices like 'Moreover' and 'Furthermore', but these feel somewhat mechanical. Because the response ends abruptly, the overall structure is not fully realized. To improve, ensure that each paragraph has a clear topic sentence and that you use a wider variety of linking words to connect your comparisons more fluidly throughout the report.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary used is generally adequate for the task but lacks the precision required for higher bands. You use basic terms like 'details', 'members', and 'accounted for'. There are also some minor errors in word choice and spelling, such as 'ade groups' instead of 'age groups' and 'wer' instead of 'were'. To achieve a higher score, try to incorporate more specific vocabulary related to data description, such as 'proportion', 'segment', 'distributed', or 'fluctuated', and ensure you proofread for basic spelling errors.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The response contains a mix of simple and some attempted complex structures. There are several grammatical errors, such as subject-verb agreement issues ('The given three charts illustrates') and missing articles ('joined library'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with the lack of a concluding sentence. While the meaning is generally clear, the frequency of these errors limits the score. Focus on mastering basic subject-verb agreement and the correct use of articles to improve the accuracy of your writing.
