Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5

You have successfully identified the main features of the three charts, including the age demographics, loan categories, and the ten-year trend. You provided a clear overview and supported your points with data from the charts. However, to reach a higher band, ensure that all comparisons are accurate. For instance, you stated that 'children fiction as well as adult fiction were equal counted for 38 percent both', but you should ensure the data interpretation is precise. Additionally, while you mentioned the bar graph, the description of the trend could be more analytical by highlighting the overall growth rather than just listing the start and end points. Overall, you have covered the requirements of the task well.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5

The response is logically organized into paragraphs, with each chart receiving its own section. You used cohesive devices such as 'Moreover', 'Furthermore', and 'In 2007' to guide the reader through the information. However, the flow between sentences is occasionally mechanical, and some referencing is slightly unclear, such as 'the followed years'. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring smoother transitions between the data points would enhance the coherence of the report. The paragraphing is appropriate and helps the reader navigate the different sets of information provided in the prompt.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

You have an adequate range of vocabulary to convey the information, using terms like 'demographics', 'categories', and 'fluctuations'. However, there are some inaccuracies in word choice and collocation, such as 'total loan taken by them' (should be 'total loans taken by them') and 'least interested by members' (should be 'least popular among members'). There are also minor spelling errors like 'flactuations'. To improve, try to incorporate more precise academic vocabulary to describe trends and proportions, and pay closer attention to the correct prepositional usage when describing data categories.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

You demonstrate a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are several grammatical errors, such as 'there are information' (should be 'there is information'), 'wer the least age groups' (should be 'were the smallest age groups'), and 'Number of loans were' (should be 'The number of loans was'). These errors occur frequently but do not impede communication. To achieve a higher band, focus on subject-verb agreement and the correct use of articles. Increasing the variety of complex sentence structures while maintaining accuracy will also help improve your score in this criterion.
