IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The charts below give information about a public library in a town called Little Chalfont.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

 

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The given figures illustrate a set of organized data of students on basis of several criterion such as age ,listing students as children or adult the 65 and above along their fictions and non fictions.The table represents the data from 2016 only while the bar chart shows the information from 2007 to 2016.The children and adult fiction accounts for the highest loans throughout 2016.On the other hand the adult non fiction and children non fiction loans were 13% and 6% respectively.Moreover the adult audio books and young adults acquired the least of the loan users.In contrast the bar chart depicts the total number of loans from 2007 to 2016.Initial observation shows a slight increase by 2008 and 2009 .The same trend followed up to 2011 and then a slight decline by 2012 and 2013.A slight increase in overall loans in 2014 followed by the same pattern of increase till 2016.
