The charts below give information about a public library in a town called Little Chalfont.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 6.0)
The Charts here illustrates the age of a public library members in town called little Chalfont while the table depicts percentage of total loans by different category of books.However, the bar graph illustrates total number of loans of books taken by people from the year 2007 to 2016.
Overall,Adults ranging from age 18 to 64 have largest proportion in the library. Children's fiction and Adult fiction books have been taken the most as loan from the library.There are highest number of loans in the year 2016 according to bar graph.
The lowest proportion is 12 percent in the library who have age of 65 and above whereas the highest is 51 percent who are adults aged between 18 to 64. There are some proportions of children and young adults aged between 13-17 comprising of 37 percent in total.Furthermore,Children's DVDs have the lowest interest by the people having 1 percent of total book loan from the library while children's fiction and adult fiction stands similar at the highest 38 percent of total book loan from the library.
Young adults,Adult audio books, adult non-fiction and children's non fiction books comprise a total of 23 percent of total book loan from the library.Moreover,There are 17000 books loan from the library in the year 2007 which steadily increase to 22000 in 2011. It then decreased to 18000 in 2013 which then further increase to 23000 books in 2016.
