The charts below give information about a public library in a town called Little Chalfont.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.5)
The charts illustrate the data of a public library in Little Chalfont town and the bar chart shows total number of loans from the year 2007 to 2016.
Overall, Adults are more than 50% of the members of library and rest young adults and older people fill the rest of members of library. The number of loans experienced a raise from 2007 to 2016 with some fluctuation.
Adults between age of 18 to 64 cover 51% of members of library.
12% are the adults of 65 years and over. While 22% children joined the library. 15% young adults from 13 to 17 age cover the rest.
Almost 15,000 loans were there in 2007. An increase in loans was seen in the year 2008 and 2009 at approximatly 19,000. From the year 2010 to 2012 the loans crossed 20,000. A slight decline was experienced in 2013 and then A continuous rise is seen from 2014 to 2016 and it reached at the almost 20,000 in the end.
