The charts below give information about a public library in a town called Little Chalfont.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The charts provide information about a public library in the town of Little Chalfont, including the number of people who visited it, the purposes for which it was used, and the types of books borrowed.

Overall, the library experienced an increase in visitor numbers over the period shown. Borrowing books was the most common reason for visiting, while fiction accounted for the largest proportion of books borrowed. In addition, there was a noticeable rise in the use of the library for computer and internet access.

The number of library visitors increased considerably from approximately 10,000 in 2007 to around 18,000 in 2011, before falling slightly to about 16,000 in 2012. Borrowing books remained the main purpose of library visits, accounting for the largest share throughout the period. Using computers and accessing the internet also became increasingly popular, whereas activities such as attending events and studying represented smaller proportions.

Regarding the types of books borrowed, fiction was considerably more popular than non-fiction. Adult fiction represented the largest category, followed by children's fiction. By comparison, adult and children's non-fiction accounted for smaller shares of total borrowing.
