The charts below give information about a public library in a town called Little Chalfont.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 6.0)
The given Charts demonstrates data about Little Chalfont library in a town. It illustrates age of library members and total loans by category.
Overall, it can be seen that that most of the individuals who were the member of library in 2016 were between the age 18 and 64. Whereas, Children and Adult fiction get massive loans.
Turning to the details, in 2016 data revealed that 51 percent of the subscribers were adults therefore children were almost 22 percent. Despite this, Young adults and adults over 65 were at the least (12% and 15% respectively). Furthermore, 38% of the total loan categorized to children and adult fiction while adult non fiction got 13% loan. In addition other categories was lower than 7%.
Moreover, from 2007 to 2016 most of the loans were recorded in the year 2010, 2011, 2012, 2014, 2015 and 2016 with over 20 thousands therefore least amount of loans was around 15000 in 2007.
