The charts below give information about a public library in a town called Little Chalfont.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.5)
The following charts illustrates the knowledge regarding a public library in a town named Little Chalfont.
Overall, there are a variety of books that can be found in Little Chalfont library ranging from children's friction to adult audio books. Furthermore, adults between the age of 18 to 64 are seemed to be most frequent visitors. In addition to this, the number of loans taken from the library seems to be rising from 2007 to 2016.
Looking at the charts more clearly, more than half(51%) of the visitors to the library are between the age of 18 to 64 while other 49% visitors are children, young adults between 13 to 17 and adults 65 and over collectively. Most of loans in the library is taken by children's fiction books which is 38% while the least percentage of loans taken is in adults audio books which is only 2%.
Subsquently, the number of loans seems to be increasing over the years which started from 15,500 in 2007 and peaked at 2016 reaching 22,000 in numbers while facing some fluctuations along the years.
