The charts below give information about a public library in a town called Little Chalfont.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 6.0)
The given charts and graph show the information about a local libary in a town named as Little Chalfont. Pie chart depicts, there are total 4 different categories of library members depending on their age. The chart shows the proportion of loan taken to conduct different categories in library. .
Overall, the adults share a significant contribution as library members while aging people share a miminal proportion as library members. Children fiction and adult fiction are two categories which account for same share of loan taken for them.
Adults between ages 18 to 64 share the considerable proportion as library members which accounts for about 50%. On the other hand, adults with ages 65 and over share the smaller percentage which is 12% of total llibrary members.
Moverover the charts show total representation of loans taken by different categories in 2016. Children fiction and adult fiction are the categories which share same highest percentage to take loan. It accounts for 38%, however, smallest proportion of loan allocated to young adults, this is only 2%.
The year in which highest amount of loan was taken was 2016 and this is approximately 22000, following it 2015 and 2014 are the years in which loan was taken. Where as, 2007 is a year in which lowest amount of loan was taken, this is a bit higher than 15000.
