The charts below give information about a public library in a town called Little Chalfont.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The three charts present data regarding public library membership and borrowing patterns at Little Chalfont Library over an 11-year period.

Overall, adults aged 18 to 64 accounted for the majority of library members, while children's and adult fiction were by far the most popular loan categories. Additionally, total book loans showed a general upward trend over the 11-year timeframe despite a minor temporary decline.

Looking at the pie chart for 2016, adults aged 18 to 64 comprised the largest segment of library members at 51%, followed by children at 22%. Young adults (13–17) and elderly individuals (65 and over) represented equal shares, each making up approximately 14% of total memberships.
