IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The charts below give information about a public library in a town called Little Chalfont.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

 

Student answer (Band 5.5)

The pie chart illustrates the information of ages of different members of the little chalfont library, While the table and graph showed the total number of loans by different category of library employees from 2007 to 2016.

Overall, the adult members had high percentage in the pie chart of the library, followed by, children and over adults had lowest percentage in chart. However the table showed that children's and adult fiction had high rate of loan but other categories had just normal rate of loan. Furthermore, peek level of loan was at the last year in the graph.

The adults members with age between 18-64 have highest percentage about 51%. While staff that are children has 22% in the library. Furthermore, the young adults and over 65 have lowest percentage of colleges in the little chalfont library.

In addition, the table showed total loans by categories. The children's and adult fiction have high rate of 38% loan. But the lowest rate is 1% by children's DVDs, followed by, other remaining categories have average rate of loan.

Moreover, the largest rate of loan is 22,000 in 2016. But the lowest loan is 16000 in the year of 2007. While , in the other years it goes up and down gradually.
