The charts below give information about a public library in a town called Little Chalfont.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 6.0)
The given charts illustrates the information related to a public library in a town which is known as Little Chalfont.
At first, a pie chart is given, demonstrating the age difference of library members in 2016 with individuals including children about 22%, young adults aged 13 to17 were 15%, adults aged 18 to 64 constitutes the highest ratio about 51%, and the other adults aged 65 and above represents the 12% of the total library members.
The table shows the total amount of loans taken by all individual, all are mentioned in a categorised form, marking the loan on children's and adult fictional books with a proportion of 38%, which is the greatest loan taken among all the others. Non-fictional books of kids had a loan of 6% and 1% is on their DVDs. Young adults books had been taken on lease at a ratio of 2%, while adult fictional books were mortgaged as 13% and lastly the adult audio books were overdrafted at about 2%.
Total number of money lending from the year 2007 to 2016 is given, showing 2016 with the highest value of loans taken about 22,000, whereas, in 2011 and 2015, the mortgage ratio was identical to 21,000 in each year. The other years experienced some marginal shifts in leases but the lowest proportion was at the start of the period of 2007, with the ratio of 16,000.
