The charts below give information about a public library in a town called Little Chalfont.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 6.0)
The data shows the membership of the Little Chalfont Library in 2016, the total number of loans made in that year, and the number of loans from 2007 to 2016.
First of all, adults between 18 to 64 are the highest members of the library and are 51%. While fiction plays a major role in increasing the loans, children's fiction and adults' fiction increase the loan by 38% each. on the other hand the loans inreased over time from 2007 to 2016 despite some fluctuations.
Furthermore, the membership of children in library is 22% and adults betwwen 13 - 17 are 15%, while the membership of adults over 65 is low only 12% of them joined the library.
Moreover, the loans rose over time and in 2007 the borrowed items loan was 16,000 and then it slightly increased. In 2013 it experienced a slight fluctuation and decreased a bit after reaching its peak in 2016.
