The charts below give information about a public library in a town called Little Chalfont.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

 

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The rendered comparative pie, table and column charts depict the information about age of library members and total loans and numbers of loans in 2007 to 2016.

Overall, it can be inferred that the maximum counting of loans noticed in the last two years, whereas the least witnessed in the initial year. Moreover, mostly children's fiction and adult fiction loans observed in the library.

It can be ostensible that in 2016, the percentage of adults and children who preferred library were a more-than half and 22%. As far as young adults and adults over 65 are concerned, there was a meager disparity considered in both age group, which was around 3%. According to the table chart, there was an almost identical proportion assessed in children's fiction and adult fiction that was 38%. Moreover, there was a little proportion examined in children's DVD and adult audio book, which was only 1%, and 2%.

Regarding the further details, more than 20,000 number of loans identified in 2015 and 2016, while it was declined by nearly 5,000 in 2007. It is noticeable that it followed an upward trend between 2008 and 2011. Eventually, the number of loans in 2013 was approximately 20,000.
