The charts below give information about a public library in a town called Little Chalfont.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 6.0)
The charts provide information about a public library in a Little Chalfont located in a town, including ages of library members, loans category and number of loans.
Overall, adults between 18-64 years made up largest part, while adults 65 years and over contributed least. In loans category, children's fiction and adult fiction were at peak (38%) and children's DVD was the lowest percentage (1%). Generally, total number of loans follow upward trend.
Regarding age of members, adults between 18-64 years made up largerst part , 51%, while adults over 65 years made p 15%. Children contributed 22% and young adults between 13-17 years 15%.
In term of loans category, children's fiction and adult fiction making 38%, and non fiction 13%. Children's non-fiction , Children's DVDs, young adults and adult audio books making (6%,1%, 2%, 2% , respectively).
Total number of loans followed upword trends from 2007 to 2016, but slight declined in 2013. In 2007 the number of loans were around 16,000 , while at the end of period it rose to around 22,000.
