Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You successfully cover all parts of the task by addressing the three distinct visual elements provided: the demographic breakdown of library members, the percentage breakdown of book loans by category, and the 10-year trend in total loans. You provide an overview outlining the main features, such as the peak membership among adults aged 18-64 and the dominance of fiction loans. However, your reporting of the data is somewhat uneven. While you give precise figures for the age distribution and category proportions, your description of the timeline for total loans contains numerous inaccuracies and fails to accurately reflect the provided figures, such as stating 'rose by 18000 in 2008' instead of reporting the absolute value of 19,000. Additionally, some ideas are left under-developed. To reach a higher band, you would need to ensure all data points are reported accurately and key comparisons are consistently highlighted with precision.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

Your response maintains a generally coherent overall arrangement and follows a logical paragraph structure, dividing the introduction, overview, membership/loan categories, and the timeline into separate sections. However, the cohesion between and within sentences is sometimes faulty or mechanical. For instance, the transition 'Futhermore' is used awkwardly to introduce the final paragraph on the line graph, and referencing is occasionally unclear, such as the dangling phrasing in describing the loan categories. Furthermore, paragraphing could be better managed to group related information more fluidly. To improve your score in this area, you should use cohesive devices more naturally and ensure that every sentence flows logically into the next without abrupt shifts in topic.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, attempting less common terms such as 'proportion', 'distribution', and 'categories'. However, there are several noticeable vocabulary errors, word-choice inaccuracies, and spelling mistakes that prevent you from achieving a higher band. For example, you write 'illustates the Data' with an unnecessary capital letter, use 'asscending' instead of 'ascending', and misspell 'Futhermore'. Additionally, phrases like 'got highest proportion' are somewhat informal or unnatural. To achieve a higher band, you need to expand your use of less common lexical items while maintaining greater precision in word choice, spelling, and collocation throughout your writing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You make use of a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, attempting comparative structures and relative clauses (e.g., 'Adults which were between 18-64 age has highest usage'). However, your writing contains frequent errors in grammar and punctuation that persist across different sentence types. There are issues with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'Adults has', 'young adults... has'), missing articles (e.g., 'highest rate are children's fiction'), and incorrect prepositions inside grammatical patterns. Additionally, punctuation is occasionally weak. To improve your grammatical range and accuracy, you need to tighten your control over basic agreements, verb forms, and prepositional usage so that your complex sentence attempts are error-free.
