Firstly, The pie chart shows the age of library memebers (2016) including childeren age, young adults age between 13 to 17, adults age between 18 to 64 and adults age greater than equal to 65. So the the 51% of the library members are adults aged between 18 and 64. The 22% of the members are mainly childerens. 15% members are you adults aged between 13 to 17 and the rest of members are adults aged morethan equal to 65.

Moreover, the table shows the the total loan by categories in 2016. The childeren's fiction and adult fiction covers 38% each of total loans while the young adults and adult audio books shares 2% of total loan each. The childeren's DVDs consist covers only 1% of the total loans categories.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

You identify the three visual elements and report several relevant figures, including the 51% share of members aged 18–64 and the equal 38% shares for children’s and adult fiction. However, the response is only a partial summary: it gives no clear overall overview of the main patterns, and some important information is omitted. For example, adult non-fiction accounts for 13% of loans, but is not mentioned. The final paragraph only groups years above or below 20,000, rather than describing the overall trend from 15,700 in 2007 to a peak of about 21,700 in 2016, with fluctuations in between. Also, the opening calls the town “Chalfont,” whereas the task names it Little Chalfont. Select the key patterns and compare them more fully.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a coherent overall arrangement: it introduces the charts and then discusses membership, loan categories and yearly totals in separate paragraphs. Sequencing words such as “Firstly,” “Moreover” and “Furthermore” help signal these shifts, so the reader can follow the broad structure. However, the linking is somewhat mechanical, and the paragraphs mostly list details rather than building a clear progression from an overview to supporting comparisons. Some references are also unclear or repetitive, as in “the rest of members” and “the total loan by categories.” A brief overview after the introduction, followed by grouped comparisons within each chart, would make the organisation more purposeful and the relationships between figures clearer.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant chart vocabulary, including “members,” “total loans,” “categories,” “fiction” and “illustrates,” which makes the subject generally understandable. However, the range is limited and several word-choice or spelling problems reduce precision: “the give charts,” “small town,” “covers” and “exceeds 20000 figure” are not natural or accurate ways to describe these visuals. There are also repeated misspellings such as “childeren,” “memebers” and “Furthurmore.” Use standard terms such as “charts,” “proportion,” “accounted for” and “loan total,” and check spelling carefully. More precise trend vocabulary would also help you describe the rise and fluctuations in annual loans rather than only grouping years around 20,000.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentences, and most of the intended meaning can be understood. However, control is uneven, with frequent errors in sentence construction, agreement, articles and punctuation. For example, “The give charts illustrates” has an incorrect verb form and agreement, while “the 51% of the library members are adults” uses an unnecessary article. The phrase “the rest of members are adults aged morethan equal to 65” also has faulty grammatical construction, and the final sentence lacks a clear grammatical link between the years and the 20,000 threshold. Capitalisation after commas is inconsistent, as in “Firstly, The pie chart.” Practise accurate basic clauses first, then add complex comparisons with correct articles and verb forms.
