The chart shows the percentages of every meal in three types of nutrients are sodium, saturated fat and added sugar all are typical meals consumed in the USA. These meals of which may be unhealthy if eaten too much.
Sodium intake should be 14% in breakfast and in snacks which mean low intake, 29% in lunch and 43% in dinner which is highest meal intake in one day.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response covers the main features of the charts, identifying the highest and lowest intake points for each nutrient. However, the overview is weak; it merely states that people consume less at breakfast and more at dinner, which is not entirely accurate for all nutrients (e.g., added sugar is highest at snacks). The report lacks a clear, analytical summary of the data trends. While the key figures are presented, the comparison between the three nutrients is limited, and the response relies heavily on listing data rather than synthesising the information effectively. To reach a higher band, you should focus on grouping data points to highlight significant trends rather than listing percentages for each meal individually.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The response is organised into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is very limited and repetitive. Transitions between sentences are often missing or mechanical, such as the repetitive start of sentences like 'Sodium intake should be...' and 'Saturated fat should be...'. The logical progression is somewhat disjointed because the information is presented as a series of isolated facts rather than a cohesive report. To improve, use a wider variety of linking words (e.g., 'In contrast', 'Furthermore', 'Conversely') and ensure that each paragraph has a clear thematic focus that connects logically to the next.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is adequate for the task but remains quite basic and repetitive. You frequently use the same verbs, such as 'should be consumed' or 'is', which limits the range of your writing. There are also some awkward phrasings, such as 'every meal in three types of nutrients' and 'on an average person in USA'. To achieve a higher score, you need to incorporate more precise vocabulary related to data description, such as 'constitutes', 'accounts for', 'peaks at', or 'fluctuates'. Expanding your range of synonyms will help make your writing more engaging and professional.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The response contains a mix of simple and some attempted complex structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors. For example, 'which mean low intake' should be 'which means a low intake', and 'on an average person in USA they will intake' is grammatically incorrect and redundant. There are also issues with subject-verb agreement and article usage (e.g., 'in morning', 'during day'). While the meaning is generally clear, these persistent errors indicate a lack of control over complex sentence structures. Focusing on basic sentence accuracy and ensuring correct verb forms will significantly improve your score.
