The charts below show the average percentages in typical meals of three types of nutrients, all of which may be unhealthy if eaten too much.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Average percentages of sodium, saturated fats and added sugars in typical meals consumed in the USA
Student answer (Band 4.0)
The pie charts illustrate the average percentage of three nutrients which is not suitable for our body if we eat in large quantity.
Overall, there are there nutrients which is sodium, saturated fat and added sugar.
In USA the sodium, saturated fat and added suger is consumed in snaks breakfast dinner and lunch all contains a generic percentage of nutrients.
So, the snak contains 14% of sodium meanwhile 21% of saturated fat and also 42% of added sugar. In breakfast which is very good for our health but we consumed a 14% of sodium, 16% of saturated fat and also 16% of breakfast.
However, in dinner we contains 43% of sodium, 37% of saturated fats amd 23% of added sugar which is very unhealthy for our body. In lunch we consume 29% of sodium, 26% of saturated fat and 19% of added sugar. All this is unhealthy for us we need to overcome this all.
