The charts shows us, the three types of nutrients. First is sodium the snack are 14%, in the breakfasft it is 14%, in the dinner it is 43% and in the lunch it is 29%. The saturated fat, the snack is 21%, in the breakfast it is 16%, in the dinner it is 37%,in the lunch it is26%. The added sugar, in the snack it is 42%, in he breakfast it is 16%, in the lunch it is 19% and in the dinner it is 23%. It's mean that the sodium is much unhealthy if we eaten too much in the dinner and in the lunch. The saturated is on the same point, it is also un healthy at the night in the dinner with 37%, and in the lunch with 26%. And the added of sugar it is unhealthy in the snack and we can see that it is unhealthy with the 42%.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

The response attempts to cover the main data points from the charts regarding sodium, saturated fat, and added sugar consumption across different meal times. However, the candidate lists numbers in a mechanical, repetitive way without providing an adequate overview or making meaningful comparative statements. For instance, the text states 'First is sodium the snack are 14%, in the breakfasft it is 14%, in the dinner it is 43% and in the lunch it is 29%.' While individual percentages are mentioned, there is no synthesis of the overall patterns or trends shown in the visual data, such as highlighting that dinner accounts for the highest proportions of sodium and saturated fat, whereas snacks dominate added sugar consumption. The ideas are limited and under-developed, resulting in a Band 5 performance for this criterion.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The text lacks proper paragraphing, consisting of a single, dense block of text that makes it difficult to follow the progression of ideas. Cohesive devices are extremely limited and repetitive, relying heavily on basic listing phrases like 'First is', 'in the breakfasft it is', and 'and in the lunch it is'. There are no clear transitional markers to guide the reader through comparisons or contrasts between the different nutrients. Referencing is also somewhat faulty, as seen in phrases like 'It's mean that' and 'The saturated is on the same point'. Overall organisation is weak, leading to a Band 4.5, which rounds to Band 5 based on the descriptors for limited progression and inadequate cohesion.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

The vocabulary used is very basic and repetitive, heavily constrained to listing data values and simple descriptors like 'unhealthy', 'snack', 'breakfast', 'lunch', and 'dinner'. There are noticeable word choice and collocation errors, such as 'much unhealthy' instead of 'very unhealthy', 'if we eaten' instead of 'if we eat', and 'the added of sugar' instead of 'added sugar'. The candidate attempts some less common terms like 'nutrients', but the overall lexical range is narrow and inadequate for a higher band. These errors occasionally cause difficulty for the reader, aligning the response with Band 5.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

The grammatical range is severely limited, consisting mainly of simple sentence structures and repetitive clauses strung together. There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, including subject-verb agreement issues ('The charts shows us'), tense and form errors ('if we eaten too much'), and missing articles or prepositions ('at the night in the dinner'). Complex sentence structures are attempted with varying degrees of failure, and punctuation is rudimentary. These frequent errors cause considerable distraction and difficulty for the reader, placing the response firmly in the Band 5 category.
