To give more details , dinner and launch were the highest proportion in both sodium and saturated fat by 43% and 37% respectivly for dinner type , 29% and 26% for lauch respectivly as well . however, breakfest provides the lowest percentage in three types of meals with sodium by 14% and 16% for both saturated fat and added sugar .

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You identify several important patterns: dinner has the highest shares of sodium and saturated fat, and snacks lead for added sugar. You also report some figures accurately, including dinner’s 43% sodium and 37% saturated fat. However, the overview incorrectly says breakfast is lowest for all three nutrients: snacks, not breakfast, have the lowest sodium share at 14% (equal to breakfast), and breakfast is not lowest for added sugar. The response also omits the key 42% snack figure for added sugar and gives no comparison of the leading snack share with other meals. The final claim that dinner and snacks “may be unhealthy” is not a supported comparison of the chart data. At 146 words, the response is four words below the 150-word minimum; eight words copied from the prompt were not counted.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, an overview, supporting details and a brief conclusion. This gives the reader some organisation, and phrases such as “Overall” and “To give more details” signal the stages of the report. However, progression is limited because the detail paragraph focuses on dinner, lunch and breakfast while leaving out the most notable added-sugar result for snacks. The conclusion repeats a broad claim rather than drawing together the comparisons. Some linking is also awkward or mechanical, as in “To same up,” and the long detail sentence groups figures in a way that is difficult to follow. Organise the body around the nutrient patterns and use clear comparisons to connect the figures.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use relevant chart vocabulary, including “proportion,” “percentage,” “nutrients” and “highest,” so the topic is generally clear. However, the range is limited and several word-choice, collocation and spelling problems make parts less precise: “the figure provides” is unnatural, “dinner experienced” does not fit a meal category, and “launch,” “lauch,” “breakfest” and “respectivly” are misspelled. “Unhealthy food” also changes the meaning: the chart shows nutrient percentages in meals, not whether particular meals are unhealthy. Aim for accurate reporting verbs and consistent terms such as “share” or “proportion.” More precise vocabulary would help you describe the comparisons without relying on repeated forms of “highest” and “lowest.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple statements and longer comparative sentences, and the overall meaning can usually be understood. However, the range is limited, and errors recur in sentence construction, articles, agreement and punctuation. For example, “dinner and launch were the highest proportion” does not form a correct comparison; use a structure such as “Dinner and lunch had the largest shares.” In “breakfest provides the lowest percentage,” the verb form and the claim itself need attention, while “while breakfest the less one” is missing a verb. Punctuation spacing is also inconsistent, with spaces before commas and full stops. Practise building accurate comparison sentences and checking that each clause has a subject and a finite verb.
