Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You identify the main pattern accurately: dinner has the highest shares of sodium and saturated fat, while snacks account for the largest share of added sugar. Several figures are also reported correctly, including sodium at 43% for dinner and 14% for breakfast and snacks, and added sugar at 42% for snacks. However, the overview says all nutrients are consumed least at breakfast, which is not true for sodium, since its lowest share is tied between breakfast and snacks; the later phrase “sodium is taken least among them” is also unclear. The saturated-fat comparison is incomplete, and the response is 143 words, below the 150-word minimum. Add the missing comparisons and clarify the overview.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a clear overall arrangement: an introduction and overview are followed by details about sodium and saturated fat, then added sugar. This makes the main information reasonably easy to follow. However, some links between ideas are mechanical or unclear. For example, “Moreover” introduces a point that needs more precise wording, while “however sodium is taken least among them” does not clearly explain the comparison. The second paragraph also moves between nutrients without consistently grouping comparable figures, and the sentence about saturated fat in snacks and lunch would be clearer if it explicitly stated that lunch is higher. Use clearer transitions and organise the details by nutrient or by meal to strengthen progression.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use a reasonable range of task-related vocabulary, including “proportions,” “categorized,” “constitutes,” and “accounts,” and the meaning is generally understandable. However, several word choices and collocations are inaccurate or awkward, such as “usual diets,” “construct identical figure,” and “records same.” There are also spelling errors in “suger” and “Majority,” and inconsistent spacing after commas makes the writing look less controlled. Prefer precise chart language such as “share,” “account for,” and “is equal to,” and check spelling and collocations carefully. More accurate phrasing would help you describe comparisons without relying on awkward expressions.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

You attempt a mix of simple and complex structures, including the overview sentence beginning “Overall” and clauses linked with “while.” Most of the data remains understandable, but some grammatical errors affect clarity. For example, “Majority of sodium” needs an article, and “most of added sugar are taken” has a number-agreement problem. In “dinner and lunch accounts the figure,” the plural subject requires a plural verb, and “the amount … records same” is not a well-formed sentence. Commas are also missing after several introductory phrases and before some conjunctions. Review articles, subject–verb agreement, and punctuation, while keeping the sentence structures you already attempt.
