Student answer (Band 6.5)
It is undeniable that travelling facilities are spreading it's wings all around the world. In this regard, some people have decided to decrease the number of times they fly every year or to stop flying altogether. This essay will discuss not only pros but also cons of the given notion which will be outlined in the forthcoming fragments with logical conclusion. In my perspective, merits are overlapping the demerits for individuals and businesses.
To commence with, there are several benefits of the given statement. The first and foremost is decrease in the pollution. To explain, if society have decided to reduce the number of times they fly every year this will leads to decrease in air pollution. As less number of flights will take off to different places it will result into pollution free environment. For instance, if people will less travel to different places therefore, it will contributes positive impact on the environment. Secondly, it reduces the use of resources. To elaborate, less travel by the society will leads to saves the energy resources of the environment such as petroleum or gas used in flights for travelling. Thus, it is also an positive effect on the environment. Furthermore, it saves money and time. To clarify, people living in one nation if they decided to travel less or to stop flying together it will increase the financial savings. As they will not spend money on travelling to various kind of places and thus it also gain more free time to spend time with family and friends.
However, there are also few demerits of stop flying together. The prime one is that it increases the financial burden. To justify, travelling in flights covers huge costs so it is better to travel less or stop flying entirely with people of the society to save the money. Moreover, it also leads to bad effect on big businesses, the companies like travelling agencies and airlines industries as there earnings will reduce and thus impact overall economy. To epitome, if will stop travelling by air the air agencies will show downfall in their earnings.
In conclusion, although there are many many benefits of the given statement such as pollution free environment, conservation of resources and saves money. Yet demerits cannot be neglected at any cost.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses all parts of the prompt, providing arguments for both the environmental benefits and the disadvantages for individuals and businesses. The position is clear from the introduction. However, the development of ideas is somewhat repetitive and lacks depth. For instance, the argument regarding 'financial burden' in the third paragraph is slightly confusing, as it seems to contradict the earlier point about saving money. To reach a higher band, you should provide more specific, real-world examples rather than general statements. The conclusion is also quite brief and does not fully synthesize the arguments presented.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. You use cohesive devices such as 'To commence with', 'Secondly', and 'However' to signal transitions. However, some of these devices are used mechanically or incorrectly, such as 'To epitome' (which is not a standard phrase) and 'To clarify' when the following sentence does not actually clarify the previous one. Additionally, the referencing is sometimes unclear, and the flow between sentences could be smoother. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring they are used naturally will help improve your score in this area.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
Your vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but it lacks the precision and flexibility required for higher bands. There are several instances of awkward collocations and word choices, such as 'travelling facilities are spreading it's wings' and 'merits are overlapping the demerits'. You also rely on repetitive phrasing like 'different places' and 'the given statement'. To improve, focus on learning more sophisticated collocations and topic-specific vocabulary related to environmental issues and economics, and ensure you use them in the correct context.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede the flow of reading. Common issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'society have decided', 'it will leads to'), incorrect use of articles, and punctuation errors (e.g., 'it's' instead of 'its'). While the meaning is generally clear, these persistent errors prevent the essay from reaching a higher band. You should focus on proofreading your work to catch basic errors in verb tense and agreement, and practice using more complex sentence structures with greater accuracy.
