A number people have decided to lower the number of times they fly each year or not to fly altogether. It may create some difficulties for an individual and businesses but for long term it outweigh the disadvantages.

Less environmental issues will be there as fewer flights will be used if people reduce the number of time they travels through flights. Moreover, there will less use of fuel so it will not make more pollution. There can be a problem for an individual and businessmen to travel but it can save environment. One can travel through trains. For example, a businessmen travelling in a private jet can travel in a normal flight by taking a comfortable seat. It is necessary for people to come out of their comfort zone

However, it is not possible for everyone not to travel in flight because time management could be the problem. Furthermore, an individual can plan with a more number of days to travel business person can shift their work to nearby places, but time management is an issue which can get resolved. There are even trains with higher comfort nowadays. For instance, A group of families plan a tour of 7 days instead of 3 days and add days for travel. Problems can be resolved instead of ignoring them.

In conclusion, flying less or not flying can affect industries and even individual but it is very much important for our environment. It can be a problem for short term for people but it can be very much useful for long term.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5

The response addresses the prompt by discussing the environmental benefits versus the disadvantages for individuals and businesses. However, the development of ideas is somewhat superficial. While you mention time management and business travel, these points are not fully extended with specific, convincing examples. The position is clear, but the arguments lack the depth required for a higher band. To improve, ensure that each body paragraph provides a more detailed explanation of the 'why' and 'how' behind your claims, rather than simply stating them.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5

The essay is organised into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear introduction and conclusion. You use some cohesive devices such as 'Moreover', 'However', and 'Furthermore' to link ideas. However, the flow between sentences is sometimes mechanical, and the referencing is occasionally unclear, such as in the second paragraph where the transition between environmental issues and business travel feels abrupt. Improving the variety of cohesive devices and ensuring smoother transitions between sentences would help the essay read more naturally.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

The vocabulary is adequate for the task but remains quite basic. You rely on repetitive phrasing, such as 'number of times' and 'problem'. There are some inaccuracies in collocation, such as 'make more pollution' instead of 'cause more pollution' or 'generate more pollution'. To reach a higher band, you should aim to use a wider range of topic-specific vocabulary related to environmental impact and economic consequences, and focus on more precise word choices to express your ideas more effectively.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

The essay contains a mix of simple and some complex sentence structures. However, there are frequent grammatical errors, including missing articles ('a businessmen', 'the environment'), subject-verb agreement issues ('a number people'), and awkward phrasing ('it will not make more pollution'). While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to affect the overall fluency of the text. Focusing on basic sentence construction and proofreading for articles and pluralisation will significantly improve your score.
