Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5

The essay addresses all parts of the prompt, providing arguments for both the environmental benefits and the disadvantages for individuals and businesses. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, the point about 'tourist may loss' and 'unemployment' is mentioned but not fully explained or supported with robust evidence. The position is clear throughout, but the depth of analysis is inconsistent. To reach a higher band, you should expand on your examples, such as explaining exactly how a reduction in tourism specifically impacts the economic stability of a country, rather than just listing affected industries.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5

The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. There is an attempt to use cohesive devices like 'To begin with', 'On the other hand', and 'In conclusion', which helps the reader follow the argument. However, the flow within paragraphs is sometimes mechanical, and some transitions are abrupt. For example, the jump between 'People can take good breath' and 'Also, less number of global warming' lacks a smooth logical connector. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring that sentences within paragraphs are more tightly connected would enhance the overall coherence.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing you to express your ideas clearly. However, there are several instances of imprecise word choice and awkward collocations, such as 'take good breath', 'mobility of transportation', and 'tourist may loss'. These errors occasionally hinder the natural flow of the text. To improve, focus on learning common collocations (e.g., 'economic impact' instead of 'impacts in countries economy') and using more precise terminology related to environmental and economic topics. You have a sufficient range to communicate, but more precision is needed for a higher score.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

The essay uses a mix of simple and some complex sentence structures. However, there are frequent grammatical errors that affect the accuracy of your writing, such as subject-verb agreement issues ('reducing air travel have', 'essay describe') and incorrect article usage ('the natural', 'in individuals life'). Additionally, there are issues with word order and sentence construction, such as 'If person chose another way of mobility'. While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to be noticeable. Focusing on basic subject-verb agreement and consistent tense usage will significantly improve your writing.
