Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5

The response addresses the prompt by discussing the environmental benefits and acknowledging the disadvantages for businesses. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you mention carbon emissions and business meetings, the arguments lack depth and specific examples. The position is clear, but the discussion of the 'disadvantages' is relegated to a brief mention in the conclusion rather than being explored in a dedicated paragraph. To improve, ensure that both sides of the argument are balanced and supported with more detailed explanations or concrete examples to fully satisfy the 'well-developed' requirement of higher bands.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organised into paragraphs, but the logical flow is occasionally hindered by awkward phrasing and mechanical transitions. For instance, the transition 'Moreover there are clear positive limitation are also there' is confusing and grammatically incorrect. While you use some cohesive devices like 'However' and 'In the conclusion', the connections between sentences are sometimes strained, making the progression of ideas feel disjointed. Improving the use of linking words and ensuring that each paragraph has a clear, unified focus would significantly enhance the coherence of your writing.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but there are several instances of imprecise word choice and awkward collocations. Phrases like 'compete the environmental issues' and 'turn down our flights' are not natural in this context. There is also some repetition of basic terms. While you attempt to use topic-specific vocabulary such as 'carbon emission' and 'respiratory disorders', the overall range is limited. To reach a higher band, focus on using more precise academic collocations and avoiding word-for-word translations from your native language.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'vehicles emits'), incorrect preposition usage, and awkward sentence construction (e.g., 'that facilitate to encourage'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with comma splices and the use of 'ETC.' in a formal essay. While the meaning is generally understandable, the high frequency of errors prevents the writing from reaching a higher band. Focus on mastering basic sentence patterns and proofreading for subject-verb agreement.
