Most people especially those who have business perceived flying by plane as one of the most efficient and convenient mode of transporation. Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response is significantly under the required word count of 250 words, reaching only 148 words. Because the essay is incomplete and stops mid-sentence, the task is only partially addressed. The position is stated in the introduction, but the arguments are not developed, and the prompt's requirement to discuss the disadvantages for individuals and businesses is entirely ignored. To improve, you must ensure you provide a full, balanced argument that addresses all parts of the question and meets the minimum length requirement to allow for sufficient idea development.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay shows some attempt at logical organization, with an introduction and a body paragraph. However, the abrupt ending makes it impossible to judge the overall progression of the argument. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'In addition' and 'Despite of this', but the flow is interrupted by the incomplete nature of the text. To achieve a higher score, you need to complete your thoughts, use a wider range of linking words, and ensure that each paragraph has a clear topic sentence followed by supporting evidence.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but it is somewhat repetitive and lacks sophistication. Phrases like 'most efficient and convenient mode of transportation' are clear, but there are errors in collocation and word choice, such as 'reducing with this proactive action'. The range is limited, and the vocabulary does not demonstrate the flexibility required for higher bands. Focus on using more precise academic collocations and avoiding redundant phrasing to enhance the quality of your writing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
There are several grammatical errors throughout the text, including 'Despite of this' (should be 'Despite this' or 'In spite of this'), 'These actions leads' (subject-verb agreement error), and 'can also contributed' (incorrect verb form). The sentence structures are relatively simple, and the unfinished nature of the response limits the assessment of your ability to use complex structures. To improve, focus on subject-verb agreement, correct verb tense usage, and proofreading for basic punctuation and syntax errors.
