Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 250 words, which significantly impacts the development of ideas. While you clearly state your position that environmental benefits outweigh the disadvantages, the arguments are underdeveloped. For instance, the section on business and trade is fragmented and lacks sufficient depth or specific examples to fully support your claims. To improve, you must expand on your points with more detailed explanations and ensure you meet the length requirement to allow for a comprehensive discussion of both sides of the argument.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the logical flow is often disrupted by sentence fragments and awkward transitions. For example, the sentence 'further businesses and trade' is incomplete and lacks a clear connection to the preceding text. While you use some cohesive devices like 'furthermore' and 'in conclusion', their usage is sometimes mechanical or incorrectly placed. To achieve a higher score, focus on creating smoother transitions between sentences and ensuring that each paragraph has a clear, unified focus that develops logically from the previous one.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

Your vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the precision and range required for higher bands. There are several spelling errors, such as 'challange' (challenge), 'indiciduals' (individuals), 'bussinesses' (businesses), and 'vedio' (video). Additionally, some word choices are imprecise, such as 'most biggest', which is grammatically incorrect and redundant. To improve, focus on learning collocations and ensuring accurate spelling. Using more sophisticated synonyms for common words will also help demonstrate a wider range of vocabulary.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede readability. Issues include missing articles (e.g., 'protect environment' should be 'protect the environment'), incorrect comparative structures ('most biggest'), and sentence fragments. Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with comma usage. To improve, pay closer attention to subject-verb agreement and the correct use of articles. Practicing the construction of complex sentences will help you avoid fragments and improve the overall accuracy of your writing.
