Student answer (Band 6.0)
Some people have decided to reduce the numver of times they fly every year or to stop flying altogether just because it can reduce the environmental pollution. But on the same end it can effect the airlines business. I strongly believe it has a large impact on environmental benefits. While it will effect the individuals and business minorly.
Air pollution is increasing day by day and one of the major factor is air traffic. On daily basis thousands of people travel using national and international airplanes. These airplanes consume thousands litters of fuel. Which become part of sky and environment in the form of smoke. It damages the air quality badly. Which is harmful for birds and even for humans. Who live Thousands kilometer below. So, the best way to make air clear and breathable is the decrease in number of flights.
On the other end, its hard to deny the importance of travelling through aeroplanes. Its time saving way of travelling. One can move thousands of kilometer within few hours. Eventhough in some cases it is quite budget friendly. There are multiple airlines working in every country and providing extreme facilities to their passengers. As their are different type of classes, economy class, business class and premium class. Some countries are getting huge business just because of these.
Although, it is a good way of travelling but it can be used very wisely. Aeroplanes used must checked peoperly that they are not producing carbon at extreme level. Carbon ejected by them must be purified for the betterment of environment and living things.
As a conclusion, its our responsibilty to protect the nature first because its necessary for every specie living in it. By decreasing number of flights or making them environment friendly. So they can be utilized properly without damging it.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses the prompt by discussing both the environmental benefits and the disadvantages for businesses and individuals. However, the development of ideas is somewhat superficial. While you state that the impact on business is 'minor,' you do not provide sufficient evidence or logical reasoning to support this claim, especially given the economic importance of the aviation industry. The conclusion is a bit repetitive and lacks a strong summary of your position. To improve, ensure that each body paragraph provides a clear, well-supported argument that directly addresses the prompt's trade-off.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. For example, starting sentences with 'Although' or 'Which' (e.g., 'Which become part of sky...') creates sentence fragments and disrupts the flow. The transition between ideas is sometimes abrupt, and the logical progression within paragraphs could be smoother. Using a wider variety of linking words (e.g., 'consequently,' 'furthermore,' 'nevertheless') would help connect your ideas more naturally.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the precision and range required for a higher band. There are several spelling errors (e.g., 'numver,' 'peoperly,' 'specie') and some awkward collocations (e.g., 'damaging it' instead of 'damaging the environment'). You rely on basic vocabulary like 'good way' and 'huge business.' To achieve a higher score, focus on using more academic collocations and precise terminology related to environmental science and economics.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Common issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'Aeroplanes used must checked'), incorrect use of articles, and sentence fragments (e.g., 'Which is harmful for birds...'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with the use of full stops after dependent clauses. You need to focus on mastering basic sentence construction and ensuring that complex structures are grammatically sound.
