Student answer (Band 5.0)
Currently, people become a trend even to spend their holidays by flying in other countries. So, the times they fly every year have been decided to reduce by some people. In this essay, I will discuss about the environmental benefits outweigh the disadvantages for individuals and business and, draw the conclusion from this essay.
For some people, it is pleasurable to spend their time in foreign countries in fact, they have budget to afford. One of the positive aspect on environment is progress of overall social economy that develops good terms with other countries. But , if people have been decided to reduce the number of times they fly every year also have negative impact for individuals as well as on their businesses because, when they travel once in a while, their business are affected and also, international countries eliminate them from their post.
Although, people are enable to understand the every aspect that is beneficial or advantageous for their environment as well as their business.
In conclusion, both terms are good having own limitations but, in my opinion environmental benefits are more dominant feature that highlights the importance of this development in future.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 250 words, reaching only 194 words. This significantly impacts the development of ideas. While the essay attempts to address the prompt, the arguments regarding the environmental benefits versus the disadvantages for individuals and businesses are underdeveloped and lack specific examples or logical depth. The position is stated but not adequately supported, leading to a superficial treatment of the topic. To improve, you must expand your arguments with concrete examples and ensure you meet the length requirement to allow for full development of your ideas.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the flow of ideas is disjointed. The transition between the introduction, body, and conclusion is mechanical. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'Although' and 'In conclusion', but they are often used incorrectly or in a way that does not logically connect the preceding and following sentences. For instance, the transition in the second paragraph is confusing, making it difficult to follow the progression of your argument. Improving the use of linking words and ensuring each paragraph has a clear, singular focus will help improve the overall coherence.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is quite limited and repetitive. Phrases like 'spend their time' and 'good terms' are basic and lack the precision required for an academic essay. There are also instances of awkward phrasing, such as 'international countries eliminate them from their post', which obscures the intended meaning. To achieve a higher band, you should aim to use a wider range of topic-specific vocabulary related to environmental issues and business impacts, and focus on using words in their correct collocations.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede communication. There are issues with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'people become a trend'), incorrect verb forms (e.g., 'people have been decided to reduce'), and awkward sentence structures. The range of structures is limited, relying mostly on simple sentences. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, ensuring correct tense usage, and practicing the use of complex sentences to express relationships between ideas more clearly.
