Student answer (Band 5.0)
The matter of reducing the number of times they fly every year or to stop flying altogether. Yes it is good for our environment, however it can reduce society's pollution.
Firstly, the benefits of reducing the number of flies in a year is good for the world and their pockets. If someone wants to fly twice a year it is his concern, nevertheless he reduces it then it will be his benefit and also the benefit of our society, for example: reducing of pollution, less money spend etc.If people reduce their flies it will be better for their, health, money and time. When i was a child it was my wish to fly 3 or 4 times a year, since i love to explore the nature of the world. Yet, in this contemporary world i realize that people have to fly less in their life, as they have to give quality time to their family, friends, and their job.
Secondly, the drawback of reducing the number of times they fly every year or to stop flying altogether will affect the many companies, Petroleum companies, Cargo companies, Airlines. And it also affects the government sector, due to reducing consumption of fuel the economy of the country will be affected.Nonetheless, airlines and airport job holders will be affected also with this matter.
As a result, it is all in their hands rather than they fly once a year or twice. Still, they have to reduce their fly time to decrease their expenses and have a rich and healthy life.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt but lacks depth and a clear, consistent position. While you mention both environmental benefits and economic disadvantages, the arguments are underdeveloped and repetitive. For instance, the claim that flying less is good for 'pockets' and 'health' is not clearly linked to the environmental context of the prompt. The introduction is fragmented and does not clearly state your stance on whether the benefits outweigh the disadvantages. To improve, ensure each paragraph focuses on a single, well-supported idea that directly answers the specific question asked.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay uses basic paragraphing, but the internal structure of the paragraphs is weak. While you use some cohesive devices like 'Firstly' and 'Secondly', the logical flow between sentences is often disjointed. For example, the transition from discussing environmental benefits to personal health and time management is abrupt. Additionally, the referencing is sometimes unclear, such as the use of 'they' in the final paragraph, which lacks a clear antecedent. Improving the use of linking phrases and ensuring each sentence logically follows the previous one will help improve the overall coherence.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is limited and repetitive, often relying on simple, informal phrasing. You frequently use the word 'fly' or 'flies' (which is incorrect in this context) where more precise terminology like 'air travel' or 'flights' would be appropriate. There are also issues with word choice, such as 'reducing of pollution' instead of 'reduction of pollution' and 'job holders' instead of 'employees'. To reach a higher band, you should aim to use a wider range of topic-specific vocabulary and focus on correct collocations.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. There are issues with subject-verb agreement, such as 'reducing of pollution, less money spend', and incorrect word forms like 'flies' instead of 'flights'. Sentence structures are mostly simple, and there is a lack of complex sentence variety. Punctuation is also inconsistent, with missing spaces after periods and incorrect comma usage. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, ensuring correct verb tenses, and proofreading for common errors like pluralization and article usage.
