Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.0

The response is significantly under the 250-word minimum requirement, which severely impacts the ability to develop ideas. The essay fails to address the prompt comprehensively; it touches on environmental benefits but lacks a clear position and fails to discuss the disadvantages for individuals and businesses in any meaningful way. The ideas are underdeveloped, and the response ends abruptly mid-sentence, leaving the argument incomplete. To improve, you must ensure you write at least 250 words, provide a clear introduction, develop distinct body paragraphs for both sides of the argument, and include a concluding summary.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 4.0

The essay lacks logical progression and clear paragraphing. While there are some attempts at paragraph breaks, the ideas within them are disjointed and difficult to follow. There is a lack of cohesive devices to link sentences and ideas, making the text feel like a series of disconnected thoughts rather than a structured argument. The abrupt ending further disrupts the flow. To improve, focus on using linking words such as 'furthermore', 'consequently', or 'however' to connect your ideas, and ensure each paragraph has a clear topic sentence that supports your overall position.

Lexical Resource — Band 4.5

The vocabulary is limited and often inaccurate, which hinders communication. There are several spelling errors (e.g., 'dessiol' for diesel, 'dession' for decision) and awkward word choices, such as 'working on good post' and 'make a excellent work'. The range of vocabulary is insufficient to express complex ideas regarding environmental or business topics. To improve, focus on learning topic-specific collocations and ensure you proofread your work to correct basic spelling mistakes. Expanding your vocabulary through reading academic articles will also help you use words more precisely.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.0

The response contains frequent grammatical errors that often impede meaning. There are issues with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'that organization are taking'), incorrect verb tenses (e.g., 'if a cross functional team are went'), and sentence structure. The sentences are often fragmented or poorly constructed, making it difficult for the reader to understand the intended message. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence structures, subject-verb agreement, and consistent verb tense usage. Practicing simple, error-free sentences before attempting complex structures will help improve your overall accuracy.
