Student answer (Band 5.0)
Some individuals has decided to decrease the amount of times they fly each lap, while some even stop to fly. In my opinion, I believe that to not fly in aeroplane is not the solution for environment-to solve this issue-
on the one hand, decreasing the amount of flight will not be the solution. why because, their are some businessman's who need to travel always, Sometime they need to travel in every week for abroad for their meeting or some other business plan. Further more, this are some profession who need to travel for other countries like Football, cricket, Hockey etc.
On the other side, their is some environment disadvantage of flying which is that, Aeroplanes emits some harmful gases which are good for our systems, but to stop it is not solution. so, for this we need to enhance our development and engineering's. For Example, we should create an electric Aeroplane which eco-friendly for the environment and for traveller too.
In conclusion, Although their is some disadvantage of flying, but the advantage are higher in no number. Every government should start development of EV-Planes in the future.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.5
The response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 250 words, which significantly impacts the development of ideas. While the essay attempts to address the prompt by discussing the disadvantages of flying and proposing technological solutions, the arguments are underdeveloped and lack depth. The position is stated, but the reasoning is repetitive and lacks the necessary supporting evidence or examples required for a higher band. The response is too brief to fully explore the environmental benefits versus the disadvantages for individuals and businesses.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the logical progression is weak. Cohesive devices are used in a very mechanical and sometimes incorrect way, such as 'why because' and 'on the other side'. The transition between ideas is often abrupt, and the referencing is occasionally unclear. The structure is simplistic, and the overall flow of the argument is hindered by the lack of sufficient content to connect the ideas effectively.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is limited and repetitive. There are frequent errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'each lap' instead of 'each year', 'stop to fly' instead of 'stop flying', and 'engineering's' used as a noun. The range of vocabulary is insufficient to discuss the topic with any precision. The student struggles to use academic terminology, relying on basic phrasing that occasionally impedes the clarity of the message.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.5
The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that affect readability. There are consistent issues with subject-verb agreement ('Some individuals has', 'their are some businessman's'), article usage, and sentence structure. Complex sentence structures are attempted but are almost always faulty, leading to confusion. Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with the use of hyphens and dashes. The majority of sentences contain errors, which prevents the writing from reaching a higher band.
