TASK-2

Some people argued that the individuals have reduce the number of Airplane fly, while others, think that Airplane should stop flying altogether. Although I believe the environment benefits of reducing air travel outweigh the disadvantages for individuals and businesses.

On the one hand, It provide the environment benefits. Airplane consume fossil fuels. to fly in the air It is called jet fuel it is made up of fossil fuel. Fossil fuel produce greenhouse gases emission, which contribute to climate change and als air pollution. As a result, reducing the frequency of flights can help protect the environment and to prevent from air pollution & global warming if people reduce unnecessary journeys, the demand for ful will decrease. for example, people could choose trains or other forms instead of taking a flight.

On the other hand, reducing or completely avoid air travel can create several disadvantages. for individuals without air travel could be difficult or time consuming method. especially if they want to there urgently, For business it can provide huge impact especially the business people wants to travel internationally for face to face conversation & business meeting with clients. Avoiding flights could therefore limit bushen oppourtunities and make international casperation more diffucast.

In conclusion, although reducing air travel could serios implement on some people of business claim, I believe that the environmental advantages are more significant, Therefore, people can should avoid unecesary flights.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses the prompt by discussing both the environmental benefits and the disadvantages of reducing air travel for individuals and businesses, presenting a clear overall position. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited and repetitive, such as explaining that jet fuel is made of fossil fuels. Furthermore, the response suffers from a significant length penalty because it falls short of the required 250-word minimum, containing only 234 words. This under-length impacts the full development of the arguments and prevents the task achievement score from reaching higher bands. To improve, ensure you fully explore your main points with concrete examples and always check that your word count exceeds the 250-word threshold.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay is organised into four paragraphs with a recognisable introduction, body paragraphs, and conclusion. However, the logical progression is frequently disrupted by mechanical and faulty cohesive devices, such as 'On the one hand, It provide the environment benefits.' and abrupt transitions. Referencing is also unclear at times, and punctuation errors within sentences fracture the flow. Paragraphing is attempted, but the internal cohesion often feels disjointed and repetitive, typical of a Band 5 descriptor where organisation is present but overall progression lacks smoothness and clarity.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The student uses an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, attempting some less common topics-related terms like 'greenhouse gases emission' and 'international cooperation'. However, there are noticeable spelling and word-choice errors throughout the text, such as 'bushen oppourtunities', 'casperation', 'diffucast', 'serios implement', and 'unecesary'. These errors and awkward collocations cause some difficulty for the reader and reflect a limited ability to control precise lexical items, placing the response squarely in the Band 5 category.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay displays a very limited range of grammatical structures, relying heavily on simple sentences alongside frequent faulty attempts at complex ones. There are pervasive grammatical errors, including subject-verb agreement issues ('individuals have reduce', 'business people wants'), punctuation faults, and sentence fragments ('Fossil fuel produce greenhouse gases emission, which contribute to climate change and als air pollution. As a result, reducing... and to prevent...'). These frequent errors can cause difficulty for the reader, matching the criteria for a Band 5 score.
