Nowadays, many nations are heavily preferring economic growth rather than give prioritise to protect environment.I strongly disagree with it and countries should not prioritise economic growth by avoiding the environment protection.

One of the main reasons why I disagree with prioritising economic growth over the environment protection can excessive serious cause to the environment. However, increasing industrial growth is the major concern for pollution and it have several consequences for the earth by increasing carbon emission. Although, this can also damage ecosystems of the countries in long terms. For instance, many nations have decided to transformed their industries from natural resources to toward green energy from various sources such as hydro power dams or solar.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.0

The student has misunderstood the prompt regarding the environmental benefits of reducing or stopping flying, and instead shifted the discussion entirely to general industrial growth and pollution (e.g., 'One of the main reasons why I disagree with prioritising economic growth over the environment protection can excessive serious cause to the environment'). Although the writer presents a clear personal position against prioritizing economic growth, the prompt specifically asks about the trade-offs of cutting down on air travel. Because the response addresses a different topic, the task is only minimally and tangentially addressed. The ideas lack direct relevance to the specific prompt regarding aviation. Therefore, this falls under Band 4 descriptors.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 4.0

The response is organized into four distinct paragraphs, including an introduction and a conclusion. However, the logical progression is frequently disrupted by confusing phrasing and a lack of clear topical focus. Cohesive devices are used awkwardly or inaccurately, such as 'Although, this can also damage ecosystems' and 'Moreover, at the end this consequences to economical losses'. Referencing is frequently unclear, and paragraphing, while structurally present, fails to maintain a clear overall progression of ideas due to the misinterpretation of the prompt. Overall organization shows significant strain, aligning best with Band 4.

Lexical Resource — Band 4.0

The vocabulary used is basic and repetitive, with frequent word-choice errors that strain the reader's understanding. Examples include 'heavily preferring economic growth rather than give prioritise', 'excessive serious cause', and 'industries waste toxic pollution'. The writer attempts some less common vocabulary, such as 'ecosystems' and 'consequences', but their inaccurate deployment reveals a lack of control over collocation and word formation (e.g., 'prioriting', 'Therefor'). Because the vocabulary is limited and contains errors that regularly impede smooth reading, a Band 4 score is appropriate.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.0

The essay displays a very limited range of grammatical structures. Simple sentences dominate, and attempts at more complex sentences are consistently faulty, containing frequent errors that distort meaning (e.g., 'pollution and it have several consequences', 'there will have several natural disaster by increasing number of the industrial area can have consequences several natural disaster'). Punctuation and article usage are also problematic throughout the text, such as missing spaces after periods and incorrect verb forms. Due to the high frequency of errors affecting basic sentence architecture, the grammar sits firmly at Band 4.
