IELTS Writing Task 2 question
Some people have decided to reduce the number of times they fly every year or to stop flying altogether.
Do you think the environmental benefits of this development outweigh the disadvantages for individuals and businesses?
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
Student answer (Band 4.5)
Nowadays some people have decided to reduce the number of times they fly every year or to stop flying altogether. I think the environmental benefits of this development may have both advantages and disadvantages for individuals and businesses.
One of the main advantages is that the environment has a major benefits there is no pollution released on air and there is no damage to ozone layer and the feul that is used for plains is very high so that it can be used to decrease the use of fuels and the demand also decreased.
However there are also some disadvantages that individuals and businesses may resulted in heavy loss many bussiness depends on it so by this so many bussiness will effect a lot and that can be the major issue .
in conclusion there are both advantages and disadvantages for this decision.I accept the both sutations
