Do you think the environmental benefits of this development outweigh the disadvantages for individuals and businesses?

Student answer (Band 4.5)
Well everybody has it's own prospective. According to my point of view that reducing the number of fly has a lot of benifits because a lot of flights means a lot of fuel consumption and the rate of carbon dioxide continously increase in this way. Global warming, Green house effect , Ozone layer distruction and as well as numerous respiratory and visual disease which is caused from carbon dioxide.
Global warming and Greenn house effect change the climate .The acid rain destroys the riped crops every year. it also damage our historical places. There are many problems which is faced by the today's generation which is caused by the excessive and rapid use of fossil fuels coal, oil etc. The impacts and use of explosions ( nuclear explosion in japan ) have very bad impact on the world. Especially in japan the radiation of those explosions are exists even today.
Another major problem of flights are the noise pollution near the airports. Almost in every city of the every country their is an airport and thre are thousands of airplanes are in the field. Now you can understand the noise pollution and as well as the air pollution how this pollution effect our health, our crops, our climate and much more things which we are unable to explain.
I their are a lot people who have businesses and companies prefer the face to face meeting but they should understand if they destroy this world from the pollution then at which place they do their business and also with them when their is no world . So , their is nothing important in this world to save the world . Everybody knows the world is going to destruction and today in this world we face a lot of problems incliuding the wars, the resourses of clean water. We should work for the benifts of the world instead of it's destruction . The plane should be use only for emergency purposes.we should use Electric buses instead of plane i know it would take a lot of time tro reach at the destination but it necassary to save the world from destruction.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response attempts to address the prompt by discussing the environmental benefits of reducing flights, such as lower carbon dioxide emissions and reduced noise pollution. However, the task requires weighing these environmental benefits against the disadvantages for individuals and businesses. The student only touches upon the business aspect briefly in the final paragraph ('I their are a lot people who have businesses and companies prefer the face to face meeting...'), failing to adequately explore or balance this side of the argument. Furthermore, the inclusion of irrelevant tangents, such as nuclear explosions in Japan and fossil fuels in general, detracts from focused task fulfillment. The position is somewhat discernible, but the ideas lack full development and balance. Consequently, this falls into the Band 5 category.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The overall organisation is hindered by poor paragraphing, run-on thoughts, and a lack of clear logical progression. While the response is divided into paragraphs, transitions between ideas are abrupt and mechanical. For instance, jumping from climate change and acid rain directly to 'the impacts and use of explosions ( nuclear explosion in japan )' disrupts the flow of the argument. Cohesive devices are used awkwardly or inaccurately, such as starting sentences with 'I their are' or 'I know it would take a lot of time'. Referencing is frequently unclear, making it difficult for the reader to follow the train of thought. This corresponds to Band 4.5, rounded to 5.0 based on general organizational attempts.
Lexical Resource — Band 4.0
The vocabulary used is basic, repetitive, and heavily impacted by spelling and word-choice errors. Examples of weak or incorrect items include 'prospective' instead of 'perspective', 'benifits', 'continously', 'distruction', and 'incliuding'. Less common lexical items are attempted but are consistently misspelled or misused, such as 'Green house effect' and 'resourses'. Although the vocabulary is adequate to convey a rudimentary message, frequent errors in spelling and word formation strain the reader and obscure precise meaning, which aligns with the Band 4 descriptors.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.0
Grammatical control is weak throughout the response, featuring a very limited range of accurate structures. Simple sentences often contain basic agreement errors, such as 'everybody has it's own prospective' and 'there is thousands of airplanes are'. Complex structures are attempted but are almost uniformly faulty, as seen in 'which is caused from carbon dioxide' and 'how this pollution effect our health'. Punctuation and capitalization are erratic, with frequent missing capitals at the start of sentences and misuse of spacing around commas and periods. Frequent structural errors cause significant difficulty for the reader, fitting Band 4.
