Student answer (Band 5.0)
In the recent era of growing climate awareness, to prevent the number of times, few things are more crucial than the environmental benefits of this development. In many developed and developing countries, a substantial amount of money and effort allocated to environmental programs, as it often necessitates the use of various resources such as technology, international expertise, research centres, and monitoring systems. Nowadays, many would agree that contemporary society has transcended its traditional boundaries and will soon become boundless in its pursuit of environmental reduction for the enrichment of individuals and businesses. Nevertheless, I firmly believe that environmental facilities of reducing their fly times all the year and rilief flying altogether has both positive and negative impact for business and residents.
Naturally, solving environmental problems in the form of development is considered more essential for both local people and business it is creates inexhaustible facilities for living standards that are not available from other sources. Moreover, this demonstrates unparalleled benefitis for citizens and also businesses, permeating and enhancing every conceivable sector of society. Since people seek development and fulfillment through the prevent flying altogether it is imperative to elevate modern living standards. It is adopted by governments and individuals alike, many people stand to benefit significantly. In nations such as Paris, climate agreement, for instance, have emerged as pivotal models for uniting nations and delivering enhanced environmental protections.
On the other hand, there are several issues with reducing flying altogether solely on global solutions that make us consider alternatives. Under certain circumstances, governments shy away from international cooperation due to a range of challenges, such as natinal interests, financial limitations, political disagreements, and unequal responsibilities among countries. While global agreements are widely embraced, many developing nations frequently contend with profound resource shortages and domestic pressures when striving to implement international commitments. Therefore, the notion of stop flying altogether benefits for individuals and businesses is not always appealing but remains understandable.
In conclusion, it is the responsibility of governments to evaluate the role of environmental benefits to deremine whether depending exclusively on one approach will do more harm than good. Thus, it is evident that fostering an interest in this efforts , where nations address domestic environmental issues while participating in global solutions, is far more beneficial.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt by discussing the environmental benefits and disadvantages of reducing or stopping air travel. However, the position is not always entirely clear or well-sustained, often shifting into vague generalisations about environmental development and government policy rather than focusing squarely on the specific prompt regarding flying. While the student attempts to present arguments on both sides—acknowledging economic and societal factors alongside climate awareness—some ideas are repetitious and under-developed, notably the repetitive phrasing regarding 'stop flying altogether'. The examples provided, such as referencing the Paris climate agreement, are somewhat disconnected from the personal and business impacts requested by the task. Consequently, the response aligns best with the Band 5 descriptors, as it addresses the task only partially and the development of ideas is limited by recurrent abstraction.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is divided into four paragraphs, providing a basic structural framework with an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. However, the logical progression is frequently disrupted by confusing phrasing and abrupt transitions. Cohesive devices are used, but they are often mechanical, inaccurate, or semantically misapplied, such as the transition 'On the other hand, there are several issues with reducing flying altogether solely on global solutions that make us consider alternatives.' Referencing is unclear in several instances, particularly with pronouns like 'this' and 'it' referring back to nebulous concepts. Paragraphing is present, but internal cohesion fails to maintain a smooth flow of ideas throughout the text. These features place the response firmly at Band 5 for coherence and cohesion.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The lexical resource is limited and frequently strained by inappropriate word choices, collocation errors, and grammatical interference. Phrases such as 'prevent the number of times', 'environmental facilities', 'rilief flying altogether', and 'prevent flying altogether' demonstrate a lack of precision and control over vocabulary. While the student attempts to use less common items—such as 'transcended', 'inexhaustible', 'permeating', and 'pivotal'—these are often used incorrectly or in unnatural contexts, which heavily impedes the reader's understanding. Spelling is generally acceptable, but frequent word-form errors (e.g., 'natinal', 'deremine') and semantic inaccuracies restrict the vocabulary to a Band 5 level, where noticeable errors cause difficulty for the reader.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The student attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but control over grammar is weak throughout the essay. There are frequent grammatical errors, incorrect verb forms, and missing prepositions that often obscure meaning, such as in 'In the recent era of growing climate awareness, to prevent the number of times, few things are more crucial than...' and '...the notion of stop flying altogether benefits for individuals and businesses is not always appealing...'. Subordinate clauses are frequently mishandled, and agreement errors are commonplace. Because errors are frequent and recurrently cause difficulty for the reader, the writing falls short of a Band 6 and sits securely within the Band 5 descriptors.
