Student answer (Band 5.0)

Several individuals have decided to minimize the number of times they were use air buses or to finish flying with each other. From my perspective, I believe that it has various drawbacks to our citizens and corporations related to that field. However, its advantages to our ecosystem is less as compared to drawbacks.

To commence with, many individuals believed that they should minimize the use of air buses and finish the flying with each other. After that, our individuals which are related to this companies should face a huge challenge for their job security and how they fulfill their household utilites and their career comes downwards. Moreover, big businesses firms who invested a large number of assets in their industry they would also face difficulties. As a result, after the large corporations faced a big loss thus, it plays a crucial role in our nations economy.

In my view, I am a Pilot in PIA thus, this decision will destroy my career and i would face several challenges if it has approved. For instance, if this opinion will approve by our authorities then how they fulfill the requirement of need of citizens related to this field. Furthermore, it has some benefits related to our ecosystem like smoke bulching by air buses polluted the air quality which results in many individuals suffer from diseases like fever and cough.

In conclusion, it has some benefits in ecosystem yet, the drawbacks are far high for the individuals and corporations work with this industry and I also belong to this industry.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses the prompt by discussing both the environmental benefits and the disadvantages for individuals and businesses, fulfilling the basic requirements of Task 2. A position is presented, notably from the perspective of an airline pilot, which gives a personal touch. However, the ideas are relatively underdeveloped and repetitive, particularly in the body paragraphs where points about job security and business losses are restated without substantial expansion. The environmental benefits are mentioned only briefly towards the end with phrases like 'smoke bulching by air buses polluted the air quality.' Overall, the task is addressed, but the development lacks depth and analytical rigor, aligning best with a Band 5.0.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay has a basic structure with an introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Paragraphing is attempted, but the internal organization of paragraphs is weak and lacks a clear progression of ideas. Cohesive devices are either repetitive or used inaccurately, such as 'To commence with,' 'After that,' and 'Moreover,' which often feel mechanical rather than naturally linking ideas logically. Referencing is sometimes unclear, particularly with pronouns like 'they' and 'how they fulfill,' which creates ambiguity about who is being referred to. While the overall essay is just about coherent enough to follow, these organizational flaws place it firmly at a Band 5.0.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary range is limited and frequently imprecise or unnatural. The student uses awkward phrasing and inappropriate word choices throughout, such as 'minimize the number of times they were use air buses,' 'finish flying with each other,' and 'smoke bulching.' There are also issues with collocations, such as 'household utilites' and 'nations economy.' While the vocabulary is sufficient to convey a general meaning, noticeable errors in word choice and spelling ('bulching' for belching, 'utilites' for utilities) cause some difficulty for the reader and restrict the score to a Band 5.0.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay displays a very limited range of grammatical structures, and attempts at complex sentences are frequently faulty. Numerous grammatical errors occur throughout the text, including tense inconsistencies ('they were use'), subject-verb agreement issues ('big businesses firms who invested... they would also face'), and missing articles or incorrect prepositions ('work with this industry'). Sentences such as 'if this opinion will approve by our authorities then how they fulfill the requirement' demonstrate weak control over syntax and punctuation. Because errors are frequent and occasionally obscure the intended meaning, this performance corresponds to a Band 4.5, rounded to 5.0 based on positive marking for communicative intent.
