Student answer (Band 5.0)
While reduction in number of times an indidual flies every year, or to all together stop flying has some positives owing to lesser pollution, I contend that negatives of this development far outcasts the positives because of the higher cost to organizations and individuals in terms of time, money and transitive difficulies.
When looking advantages, the nature altogether including trees, animals and humans will benefitted by the superior quality of water, air, and food, due to decreased amount of pollution in the enviornment. This will lead to decrease respiratory problems for living beings such as humans, animals and tress, also improving the quality of health ultimately leading to logetivity of living biengs. Anpther positive will be cause by the lessening of the extraction of fossil fuels for fuels wing to the decreased demand for the airoplane fuel, aiding sustainable future for the upcoming generation.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.0
The response suffers from a critical issue as it is severely under-length, containing only 162 words compared to the minimum requirement of 250 words. Furthermore, the essay is incomplete, breaking off mid-sentence in the second body paragraph ('On the other hand, abolishing or reducing transport by air has a high cost to the society by...'). Because the piece is unfinished, the position is not fully developed, and the counterarguments are entirely omitted. In terms of content that is present, the student does attempt to address the prompt by discussing environmental benefits, but the under-length nature and truncated conclusion limit the score to a Band 4.0 according to official descriptors.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay demonstrates some organisational structure with clear paragraph breaks for the introduction and first body paragraph. However, because the text stops abruptly in the middle of the second body paragraph, overall progression is severely disrupted. Cohesive devices are attempted, such as 'When looking advantages' and 'Anpther positive', but these exhibit noticeable inaccuracies and mechanical usage. Paragraphing is initiated properly, but the lack of a complete second body paragraph and conclusion prevents the essay from achieving a cohesive whole. Referencing and logical sequencing are compromised by the truncation, yielding a Band 5.0.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The student attempts a range of vocabulary relevant to the topic, including terms like 'pollution', 'sustainable future', and 'fossil fuels'. However, there are numerous spelling errors ('indidual', 'all together', 'logetivity', 'biengs', 'Anpther', 'airoplane') and awkward lexical choices or collocations ('transitive difficulies', 'nature altogether', 'cause by'). These errors and limited control over less common vocabulary cause some difficulty for the reader and reflect a performance typical of Band 5.0.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The writer attempts some complex sentence structures, such as in the opening thesis statement ('While reduction in number of times an indidual flies every year...'). However, there is a lack of grammatical accuracy throughout the text, with missing articles ('a reduction'), incorrect prepositions, and structural errors. Because the essay terminates abruptly, the range of structures remains limited. Frequent errors in grammar are present, but because the meaning of the completed sentences is largely understandable, it fits the Band 5.0 descriptor profile.
